Description:

 

This development involved a bulk dig of 70,000m3, disposed of off site  to licensed tip. 20,000m3 of rock was excavated and crushed for reuse in the project. A concrete wall was constructed along one section of the site. This concrete wall formed park of the underground carpark. Temporary works were designed in house and consisted of piled kingpost at 3m centres with timber sleepers used as infills. This project was sucessfully completed within a very tight time frame of 12 weeks.

Description:

Work involved supplying and laying of imported granite slabs and granite cobbles along Misery lane and in front of grand canal theatre. A steel pavillion finished with stainless steel mesh was constructed together with planter boxes with coloured patterned finish to insitu concrete walls and irrigation system to boxes.

Description:

The route runs north to south through the county linking the three urban settlements of Trim, Summerhill and Kilcock. The route is 21 kilometres in length and the reconstruction and realignment included a further 8 kilometre of local tie ins included an extended section of the R156 regional route south of Summerhill. Given the scale of the scheme, the road moves through a number of character types from rural to urban throughout its length.

The project included three river bridges across the Knightsbrook River  at Knightsbrook, Dangan and Clonmahon. There were a number of extensive archaeological excavation carried out in parallel with the construction of the new scheme. Works included realigning, earthworks, services, roadworks, utilities, signage, markings, bridge build, five culverts

This contract entailed a high level of traffic management and construction specification for road and accommodation works were in accordance with NRA standards.  The project was completed within budget and completion date.

Description:

100% of Project undertaken by Fallon Civils included road realignment and reconstruction of new road. This Project was completed within two months from start to finish.

The roundabout and approach roads were receiving high volumes of traffic, both pedestrians & vehicles with an AADT of 13500.

Description:

The R132 road realignment at Colpe West was 100 % undertaken by P. Fallon. Job was completed within 15 months start to finish. The project was well managed with traffic management for live traffic for 28,000 vehicles AADT.

The Road development with construction of 2 new roundabouts allowed for the excessive amounts of traffic to be better controlled for a safer environment.

This project consisted of realignment of approximately 1500m of the R132 and Colpe road including constructing two number roundabouts and operating an extensive traffic management , as existing roads had to remain open at all times. Work involved excavation of 20,000m3 stoning up to revised road levels and blacktopping same with extruding kerbs, both sides together with new cycleway , new drainage lines, watermains, utility services ducting. Gas pipes were laid under new concrete footpaths. The project was completed within tight timelines of eight months to ensure new shopping centre opened ahead of time schedule.
