Description:
In 2005 following the M1 motorway bypass at Drogheda, the land was acquired due to its proximity to the M1 interchange at exit 9 of the M1. Site cover 18 hectares I total. We worked with Cleare Consultants to devise a master plan of the area.
This included impact studies, traffic management studies and catchment area study.
Overall the site was 175,000ft of retail and included retail units, one medical unit and two fast food outlets and forecourt and garage.
We worked on and designed site infrastructure of car parking for 750 spaces and installed 2000sq/meters of Attenuation. As well as landscaping and lighting.
construction consisted of structural steel portal frame with Kingspan insulated roof cladding and combination of forticrete blockwork and Kingspan insulated architectural panel to walls roads and services. All units were finished with a polished exposed aggregate flooring. Fit outs were carried out for a number of tenants. The anchor tenant for this development was Homebase ltd and other tenants include Argos, TX Maxx, Harvey Norman, Halfords, Harry Corry and Homestore and More.
Main achor tenant Homebase occupy a 46,000sq ft single fllor unit. TK Maxx occupy a 22,000 sq ft unit with and added 15,000 sq ft mezzanine floor.

The construction of a 34,000 sq ft retail unit with additional flooring area of 17,000 sq ft first floor level. Structure consisted of steel portal frame work with precast floors at first floor, clad externally with Kingspan architectural panel/forticrete blockwork and curtain walling system front elevation. Siteworks included approx 40 car parking spaces and 400sq m storage and drive through. The construction was forticrete boundary walls and railing and a weighbridge system.

DESCRIPTION
Aldi required a 14,000sq/ft retail store. We worked with Lafferty design to deliver the store to specific requirements. It comprises of a structured steel building with Architectural cladding and ADT glazing. It holds the advantage of rear yard deliveries with automated dock levelers. Its location enjoys the benefits of a 750 car park and shares this with other retailers making it a big shopping destination.

Description:
This development involved a bulk dig of 70,000m3, disposed of off site to licensed tip. 20,000m3 of rock was excavated and crushed for reuse in the project. A concrete wall was constructed along one section of the site. This concrete wall formed park of the underground carpark. Temporary works were designed in house and consisted of piled kingpost at 3m centres with timber sleepers used as infills. This project was sucessfully completed within a very tight time frame of 12 weeks.
