Two arch bridges were fully restored in this project. All walls were underpinned and then cladded with limestone. The base of the river needed to be cleared and cobble stones were bedded in river bed to prevent any further erosion of the river bed.
All walls, arches and wing walls were repaired with old stone retrieved from old buildings.
